The 25-year-old singer tells Ashleigh Ewald that he is passionate about bringing together the community through his music and work. He developed an interest in rock music at the early age of 8 learning to play the drums and guitar, quickly forming a love of pop music.

He fondly recalls visiting his parents’ bike shop where they would listen to music. Adil C. felt sure early on that music would be more than just an interest, but rather a passion or calling.

Success Is More Than Just Numbers

Adil C. has clocked up millions of streams on Spotify but the artist remains adamant that success is far more than just increasing viewing figures but instead that it is about connecting with fans and helping them realize their full potential.

He says, “I think giving back is very important – it fills the room with happiness and connecting with other people is awesome. You could spend an hour talking to someone, and your whole day is changed like that!”

Community Is Key for Artists

Throughout Adil C’s journey into the Hollywood entertainment industry, Adil C. has felt that music is more than just notes but rather a medium that can be used to connect with fans and encourage them to follow their own path. One of his songs in particular, ‘Perfect Glow’, was written to inspire listeners to pursue their passion.

Connecting with people and forming a community is crucial for Adil C., who sees it as an organic, reciprocal relationship with the support from the community helping artists like Adil C. grow, and the artist giving back to the community. He tells Ashleigh Ewald, “The things you learn along the way have to do a lot with networking, building relationships, also giving back to the community, I am learning every day, and I love to learn.”

When asked what Adil C. would say to his younger self, he replies, “Take bigger leaps of faith, follow your faith, and stop listening to what everyone else’s dream is.”
