Jodie specializes in highly sophisticated and cutting-edge deal-making, advising, and strategizing the long-term growth of her clients’ careers in all aspects of the entertainment business.Before opening Shihadeh Law, P.C., Jodie was a Partner at The Davis Firm, Pllc., where she negotiated deals at the highest level for global superstar recording artists, music producers, songwriters, television personalities, management and production companies, professional athletes, and business executives in all areas of the entertainment industry.Jodie has been regularly honored in Billboard Magazine’s Top Music Lawyers, Variety’s New York Women’s Impact Report 2022, LA Times’ 2021 Legal Visionary, and Variety Dealmakers Elite NYC 2018 for her skillful deal-making.Jodie received her Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law, where she served as President of the Media & Entertainment Law Students Association and Associate Editor of the Intellectual Property Media & Entertainment Law Journal. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Boston College. While at BC, Jodie was an A&R intern at Universal Motown & Republic Group.Jodie is a member of the State Bar of California and the New York State Bar.
