EY has unveiled the 18 female entrepreneurs selected for the 2024 Asia-Pacific cohort of the EY Entrepreneurial Winning Women™ program. This executive initiative identifies high-potential women entrepreneurs and provides them with resources and networks needed to scale their businesses and achieve sustainable growth. The program, launched in 2008, now supports over 900 women in 55 countries across a range of industries.
2024 Class of High-Growth Entrepreneurs
The selected entrepreneurs represent a diverse array of industries, from technology and consumer products to real estate and media. Collectively, the group generated over $1.3 billion in revenue in 2023 and employed more than 6,000 people. Participants are based in countries across the Asia-Pacific region, including Australia, Greater China, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, and Sri Lanka.
The program is designed to support entrepreneurs who have already demonstrated leadership and innovation within their sectors. Claire Cardno, EY Asia-Pacific Risk Management Leader and Executive Sponsor of EY Asia-Pacific Women Fast Forward, emphasized the importance of the initiative in promoting gender diversity and supporting women in leadership.
“This program aims to help empower female entrepreneurs, dismantling obstacles and propelling them towards global leadership. We champion women’s successes not only on designated occasions but consistently,” said Cardno.
Entrepreneurs Shaping the Future of Business
The entrepreneurs selected for the 2024 class have led their companies through significant transformations, driving innovation and growth in industries such as technology, media, and real estate. Loletta Chow, EY Asia-Pacific Private Leader and Co-Executive Sponsor of the EY Entrepreneurial Winning Women program, spoke about the ambitions and achievements of the group.
“We extend a warm welcome to this incoming class of women entrepreneurs – a group of savvy, ambitious visionaries with an established track record for business success. They have fulfilled their own bold ambitions and turned their ideas into inspirations,” said Chow.
